st May 2024: We are delighted to announce that a new permanent orienteering course was opened today at Tibradden Wood. Thanks to the volunteers from 3ROC Orienteering Club for a great mornings orienteering with the children from Edmondstown National School and Gaelscoil Thaobh na Coille.See link below to a downloadable map.

Orienteering is a popular outdoor sport for all the family in the Dublin mountains and the Irish Orienteering Association have regular events in the Dublin mountains.
The DMP and Coillte in conjunction with Setanta Orienteering Club and South Dublin County Sports Partnership set permanent orienteering courses at Massy's Estate which were renewed in 2019.
The DMP, Coillte, Great Eastern Navigators, DLRCC and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Partnership created permanent orienteering courses at Carrickgollogan and Barnaslingan which were renewed in 2019.
At Ticknock DMP, Coillte and 3ROC Orienteering Club worked together to create permanent orienteering courses which were renewed in 2019.
