Saturday 20th December: Aware Wellness Walks: Shankill to Rathmichael Wood

Join Us for Our Next Aware Wellness Walk! We’re continuing our public transport-friendly series with a gentle hike from Brady’s in Shankill to Rathmichael Wood. Led by our amazing DMP Volunteer Rangers and supported by Aware Volunteers. Everyone is welcome—bring friends or family! We can’t wait to see you there!

Distance: 6km | Duration: 2 hours | Difficulty: Easy to moderate.
No Dogs allowed on this hike.

Sunday 21st December: Winter Solstice Sunset Hike
Booking is via Eventbrite
Join the DMP Volunteer Rangers who will lead a sunset hike from Tibradden Wood to Three Rock, Ballyedmonduff Tomb, and Fairy Castle to mark the Winter Solstice. Much of the walk will take place in the dark so you MUST bring a torch and you may wish to being a candle.
Date: Sunday, 21st of December.
Meet at 12:45 in Tibradden Forest carpark
Distance: 15km | Climb: 500m | Duration: 6 hours | Difficulty: moderate to strenuous.
Public Transport: There is no public transport to this location on Sundays but there is a direct route with Local Link SD4 on Saturdays should you wish to use the bus another time. TFI Local Link Kildare South Dublin | See Our Bus Timetables.
