Sunday 24th November: Public Transport Friendly Hike, Tallaght to Bohernbreena with the DMP Volunteer Rangers and Active South Dublin

Join us for a guided hike with the DMP Volunteer Rangers and Active South Dublin from Tallaght to Bohernabreena Reservoir.
This public transport-friendly15km moderate walk will start from Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre in Tallaght, beside the red Luas line, and travel to Bohernabreena Reservoir via Sean Walsh Park & Kiltipper Park. In Bohernabreena the route will follow the Upper Reservoir Loop trail before returning to Tallaght via the Dublin Mountains Way. Trail on hard surfaces and grass.
Date: Sunday, the 24th of November at 10:30.
Length: 15km approx.
Elevation: 150m.
Duration: 4.5-5 hours.
Degree of difficulty: Moderate.
Bring: Walking boots, raingear, warm clothes, warm drink and lunch.
Meeting point: Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre beside The Square in Tallaght at 10:30.
Public Transport: Tallaght is served by LUAS Red Line and Dublin Bus. See link to Transport for Ireland Journey Plannerfor route suggestions.

Sunday 1st December, a DMP Volunteer Ranger led hike: Ticknock to The GAP via the Dublin Mountains Way
Booking is via Eventbrite. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU CAN ATTEND.
Description: The DMP Volunteer Rangers will be leading this guided hike along a section of the Dublin Mountains Way (DMW).The route surfaces include footpaths, gravel trails and forest floor. On a clear day the views along the route are breathtaking.
Date: Sunday, 1st of December at 10:30
Duration: 3 hours, approximately.
Distance: 10km approximately, 300m of climb.
Degree of difficulty: Easy.
Bring: Walking boots, rain gear, warm layers, water, and lunch.
Meeting point: Go past Biking.ie to the Trailhead Signs at the Upper Barrier at Ticknock Carpark at 10:15. PLEASE TAKE SPECIAL NOTE OF THE MEETING POINT.
