Dublin Mountains Festival - Féile na Sléibhte, October 1st to 10th

  • To celebrate the festival Johnnie Foxes in Glencullen will host lunchtime music sessions from October 1st to 10th. 

 

Thursday October 1st. National Tree Day celebrations for primary school children with Coillte, River Basin Management Services, poet Jane Clarke, artist Liz McMahon, supported by the DMP Volunteer Rangers and staff.

Friday October 2nd: Coillte Dublin Mountains Makeover walk, talk and tree planting at Barnaslingan Wood. 

 

Saturday October 3rd: Sharing Nature with Children Workshop for adults at Knocksink Wood Enniskerry.

Saturday October 3rd: Women's Come & Try Mountain Biking in Ticknock with DLR Sports Partnership and biking.ie. Please note there is a fee for this event.

Wednesday October 7th: Hiking with Your Phone Training, Mountaineering Ireland. Please note there is a fee for this course.

Thursday October 8th: Archaeology walk at Pipertown Hill with UCD School of Archaeology, National Monuments Service, and NPWS.

Saturday October 10th: Geology walk at Two Rock and Three Rock Mountains with UCD School of Earth Sciences.

Saturday October 10th: Dublin Mountains Archaeology Champions training as part of the Dublin Mountains Community Archaeology Project 2026.

Saturday October 10th: Community Day at The GAP, Glencullen linking with the Music in the Mountains Festival.

Join us for a vibrant Community Day to close out the Dublin Mountains Festival ~ Féile na Sléibhte 2026!
Round up the whole family and join us at Glencullen Adventure Park (The GAP) on Saturday, 10th of October, from 2–5pm!

Hot food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the day from Grizzly’s Café.

General admission is free, with your ticket giving you access to the main Community Day activities. Please note that separate tickets are required for a couple of activities, which will be announced separately.


Free shuttle bus available from Carrickmines Park & Ride – booking details will be released soon.
